Trends of scientific rationality evolution in terms of public safety problem

Abstract

The paper considers the historical forms of the scientific rationality and its transformation on the current stage of civilization development considering the significant role of the NBIC-technologies. The programs of the life quality improvement based on these technologies go further than the technological enhancement of the natural objects and human capabilities. The human nature itself is transformed. It was always constant, invariant and today it is discussed as posthuman future. The issues of high technologies reliability for the humanity, the technoscience risks control, responsibility and knowledge rationality are in focus of the paper. The specific feature of thecontemporary rationality is its openness, which assumes involvement of the value-consciousness.
