Dental anomalies of number form and size

Abstract

In the period comprised from September 2006 to March 2007 there was made a review of classical, printed and frequent publications and also were used specialized browsers of scientific information with the purpose of getting information about this topic. The search was enriched through the interchanges among researchers in the country and abroad. After the critique and analysis of all found theoretical contents, authors made a selection of information to be used. They grouped the information for its presentation in two subtopics: I- Basic concepts and classifications, II– Epidemiology. The recompilation, selection and order of revised contents gave rise to this theoretical document representing a useful teaching material that provides updated information on this controversial topic.
