The Impact of Science-Based Learning Software on the Achievement of Students with Simple Hearing Disabilities in the First Basic Stage

This study aimed to investigate the impact of an educational program based on the subject of Science in the achievement of students with simple hearing disabilities in the first basic stage ages between 6-8 years. The researcher designed an educational program in the five senses unit of science translated into sign language. The sample consisted of (40) students within the center of Zarqa Centers for: The experimental group (20) students studied using educational software, and the control group (20) students studied in the usual way. The results of the study showed that there were significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the arithmetic averages in the dimensional achievement test of the two study groups due to the use of educational software, in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended a number of recommendations, most notably: directing the Ministry of education or the supporting bodies to provide educational software in all institutes and programs of people with special needs. The need to have an education technology specialist for people with special needs in each center.
