(Arci)biskup a jeho faráři

Abstract

This study focuses on the relations between the (arch)bishop of Prague and his parishes on his feudal estates, the utilization of these parishes for economically securing other fields of church administration (chiefly archdeacons and canons), and their role in the temporal administration of the bishop’s properties. Based on the sources from the archbishop’s office (2nd half of the 14th century), it considers the relations between the archbishop, the parishes under his patronage, and their pastors.
