Abstract

The literature review presents modern data on the intracellular antioxidant protection in the respiratory tract. The induction of the enzyme synthesis of antioxidant system is described. The article details the characteristics of the intracellular forms of superoxide dismutases. The induction of the synthesis, catalytic loop and physiological function of superoxide dismutases are presented.
