Abstract

The article presents the problem of the impact of ratings issued by credit rating agen­cies in the macroeconomic dimension, in particular considerations referring to the Polish national economy in the year 2016. Ratings issused by major agencies have a very significant impact on investors. In tum, the assessment issued by the agency is influenced by the political situation in the country to a large extent.
