We report a study of the composition of the soil in the Moscow region (the soils of the biology plant of the Moscow State Pedagogical University in the village of Pavlovskaya Sloboda of the Istrinsky district of the Moscow Region and the Yauza Station of the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow Railway). The content of mobile forms of heavy metals (cadmium, lead, zinc, copper) in soils is evaluated using inversion voltammetric analysis (IVA). It is found that according to the degree of soil contamination, the metals under study form a series: cadmium > lead > zinc > copper. It can be assumed that the nature of the pollution is mainly aerogenic, i.e. atmospheric, which is convincingly proven by the data on the distribution of ions along the vertical profile of the investigated soils.
