War economics is a concept used to describe the economic policies of countries as a whole during the war periods. Countries with war economy are dealing with problems such as high inflation, production decline, black market, and unfair distribution of income. Turkey II. He did not participate in World War II and remained neutral. Despite this, he had to apply war economy because he had to be constantly ready for war. II. While the increase in military spending, the needs of the army and the contraction of imports negatively affected the economic structure during the World War II, as a result of the participation of the male workforce into the war, women's and children's labor was insufficient and production decreased. In this period, financing of additional military expenditures, decreasing production and contracting import problems, black market, unfair income distribution, inflation and food problems were problems. As a result of these problems, new taxes and regulation of existing taxes were considered. In this context, the property tax, land crop tax and in-kind tax were introduced. War economy in the study, II. World War II will focus on the process of taxation understanding of the socio-economic structure in Turkey during the war.
