In a wide range of music history fields, the Baroque period has a prominent and unique position. This paper presents a comprehensive and detailed examination of the different musical features of the Baroque era. It explores the intricate harmony and counterpoint, the rich characteristic decorative elements, and the strong emotional expression that it conveys. At the same time, it also deeply discusses the profound influence of music in this period on social life. Through the detailed analysis of the specific musical works, it clearly and vividly expounds that Baroque music not only reflects the social changes at that time but also has a significant and far-reaching influence. Meanwhile, the broad influence of Baroque music on subsequent periods was investigated, and its unique and unparalleled value in the annals of Western music.
