Die Rolle der Bibliothekar*in im Cochrane Systematischen Review-Prozess: Ein persönlicher Erfahrungsbericht

Abstract

In the field of evidence-based medicine it is of utmost importance to identify all publications that are relevant to a specific research question. Scientific authors need to consider how to choose the adequate databases and how to handle search strategies. This case report shows which parts in the research and publication process of a systematic review for Cochrane can be performed by information specialists, which experiences have been gained in consulting and exchange with scientists, and why all stages of the search process benefit from the cooperation with people, who have expertise and experience in literature and database searching.
