ФУНКЦІОНУВАННЯ ВЛАСНИХ НАЗВ, ЗАПОЗИЧЕНИХ З ФОЛЬКЛОРУ, У ПОСТМОДЕРНІСТСЬКОМУ ТЕКСТІ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ РОМАНІВ ВАСИЛЯ КОЖЕЛЯНКА “ДЕФІЛЯДНОГО” ЦИКЛУ) || FUNCTIONING OF PROPER NAME, BORROWED FROM FOLKLORE IN THE POSTMODERNIST TEXT (BASED ON THE NOVELS OF VASYLIY KOZHELANKO “DEFILADE” CYCLE)
Abstract
Цель исследования − индивидуально- авторские особенности использования имен, заимствованных из фольклора, в художественном тексте (на материале романов В. Кожелянко “дефилиадного” цикла). Методы исследования – наблюдения, индукции, дедукции, описатель- ный, контекстуально-интерпретационный и компонентный анализ. Научная новизна. Специфика использования В. Кожелянко проприальной лексики представляет особенности употребления имен собственных в жанре “альтернативная история”. Анализ функционирования имен собственных, за- имствованных из фольклора, у его романах будет способствовать более глубокому пониманию особенностей имятворче- ства в современной украинской постмодернистской прозе. Выводы. Имена, заимствованные из фольклора, функционально и стилистически нагружены в романах “дефилиадного” цикла В.Кожелянко, помогают писателю показать характер персонажа, создавать мир “альтернативной” Украины.The aim of the study. Research the individual and author’s peculiarities of using proper names borrowed from folklore in the prose (based on V. Kozhely- anko novel “Defilade” cycle). Research methods. In this work such methods as observation, induction and deduction, descriptive method with its techniques of comparison, generalization, invento- ry and classification of linguistic material, contextual-interpretation and component analysis are used. Scientific novelty. Proper nouns of modern Ukrainian post- modern literature (especially prose) still be not enough studied, proper noun creativity of a large number of the post-totalitarian period authors has so far been considered in an appropriate or frag- mentary way and has not become the subject of complex analysis. In particular, this also applies to the works of the famous Ukrainian writer Vasyl Kozhelanko. Thus, a functional-stylistic analysis of the onomasticon of his novels will contribute to a deeper under- standing of the peculiarities of its onomastics creativity, both in contemporary Ukrainian postmodern prose and in modern litera- ture on the whole. Conclusions. The analysis of proper nouns borrowed from folklore in the novels of the “defilade” cycle of V. Kozhelanko indicated that the author creates informative-estimating potentiali- ties of his proper names as a material of world culture, history, and on the regional, in particular, Bukovinian material, trying to ex- pand their functional-stylistic possibilities; piles up options of the name of one character or builds a series of similar anthropoformu- las that differ only in certain structural elements reaching this dy- namism of the noun.
