Study on Slope Deformation and Failure Induced by Mining in Extra Thick Coal Seam Based on Particle Flow
Abstract
In order to analyze the deformation and failure mechanism of the slope under the mining conditions of extra-thick coal seam, based on the mining geological conditions of 8092 working face in a mining area, the deformation and failure law, the variation law of abutment pressure, and the displacement distribution law of the gravitating rock above the goaf in the process of coal seam mining were studied by using the method of particle flow numerical simulation and theoretical analysis, and the deformation and failure process of the slope was summarized. The results show that in the mining stage of working face, the failure range of the rock is arched upward, and finally cracks are produced at the bottom of the slope, the slope surface, and the top of the slope. The change of stope stress reflects the dynamic evolution process of weathered rock structure; the zero point of the maximum surface subsidence value and the horizontal movement value is not located in the center of the goaf, and because there is a horizontal slip pointing to the downhill direction in the horizontal movement of the surface in the slope area, the subsidence value in the downhill direction is zero, the horizontal movement value is not zero, even there is a large horizontal movement value; the process of slope deformation and failure can be divided into three stages: slope bottom cracking failure, slope traction failure, and slope top sliding failure. The research results can provide reference for the application of particle flow method in this aspect, the deformation evaluation of mining slope, and ground protection.
