Article considers results of the state agrarian policy of the 1960th - the beginning of the 1980th in the Russian village. It is noted that long-term practice of nationalization of collective farms led to sharp reduction by the end of the 1970th of a share of collective farmers in the total number of workers of agriculture, finally turned them into hired workers.Migratory processes in the 1960th - the beginning of the 1980th in the central regions of Russia which led to an aggravation of a problem of a manpower in agriculture are analyzed. The author shows that process of peasants becoming rural workers in the village was promoted by the elimination policy pursued from 1960th of «unpromising villages».
