Two species of tephritid flies, Terellia odontolophi V. Korneyev, 1993 and Heringina arezoana Mohamadzade Namin et S. Korneyev, 2015 (Diptera: Tephritidae), are recorded for Armenia and Trascaucasia for the first time. The first species was additionally found in Saratov Region of Russia for the first time. Terellia odontolophi was previously known from Russia, the Ukraine and Iran, and H. arezoana from Turkey and Iran. The larvae of the first species develop in the capitula of Psephellus phaeopappoides (Bordz.) Wagenitz. (the new host plant for this species) in Armenia. The species Tephritis truncata (Loew, 1844) is widespread from the North Africa to Transcaucasia and its larvae develop in Leontodon spp. We registered a new host plant, Leontodon asperrimus (Willd.) Endl., for this species in Armenia
