The magistral pharmacy represents an important segment in the national market of pharmacy and since the RDC 67/2007, will have to follow the new rules to guarantee more security, quality and efficacy of the manipulated formulae. A study was realized to evaluate the quality of the dermatologic creams with hydroquinone to 5%, glycolic acid to 4% and urea to 10% manipulated by magistral pharmacy in the city Marilia, SP. The organoleptic characters of creams were evaluated such as, coloring, smell, visual aspects of separation phases and consistence, pH determination and centrifugation, and analysis of the labeling and packaging. The obtained results permitted establish that there is a lack of technical information for the manipulators about the stability of the dermatologic creams, about pH, in order to pharmaceutical drug can have stability and activity, as well as, the better place to storage, the best kind of package to be used to preserve the pharmaceutical formulation and, in consequence, the lack of information may affect the quality and security of the manipulated dermatologic creams.
