Contemporary Research on the Polish-Belarusian-Lithuanian Borderland on the Example of Anna Żebrowska’s Monograph

Abstract

Review Anna Żebrowska, Komarowszczyzna. Język pogranicza białorusko-polsko-litewskiego, Poznań: Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza, 2019, 320 pp. This review article is a discussion of the study by Anna Żebrowska Komarowszczyzna. Język pogranicza białorusko-polsko-litewskiego [The Village of Kamarova (Minsk Region): The Language of the Belarusian-Polish-Lithuanian Borderland]. The study presents the contemporary sociolinguistic situation of this borderland and describes in detail the local Belarusian dialect as it is today.
