Hidratación en la región cutánea del talón: ensayo clínico
Abstract
Introduction: This is a study on the hydration capacity of 3 active ingredients in the cutaneous region of the heel. The skin is an organ of vital importance for life, so we must keep it well hydrated. The objective of the study is to study which of the 3 active ingredients has the highest hydration effi ciency and to know the hydration habits of the sample population. Patients and methods: It is an analytical, longitudinal, experimental and simple blind study. The study was performed with the following active ingredients: 15 % urea, hyaluronic acid and glycerin. It counted on the collaboration of 30 women, ranged from the 18 to 60 years of age. The application of the product was carried out for three weeks, once a day, every day. The results were collected had examined by the medical digital microscope. Results: 8 out of 10 participants who applied hyaluronic acid had improved hydration status, followed by 6 out of 10 participants who applied 15 % urea and 3 out of 10 participants with glycerin. Conclusion: Hyaluronic acid was the active ingredient with the highest hydration capacity in the present study.
