Control de la hipertensión arterial esencial con auriculoterapia en trabajadores de la Empresa de Proyecto de Ingeniería y Arquitectura No. 15 Control of essential hypertension with auriculotherapy in workers of the Engineering and Architecture No. 15 Project Enterprise
Abstract
Se realizó un ensayo clinicoterapéutico en 60 pacientes de 30-59 años, pertenecientes al consultorio médico de la Empresa de Proyectos de Ingeniería y Arquitectura No. 15, del Policlínico Docente "Armando García Aspurú" de Santiago de Cuba, desde mayo hasta noviembre de 2010, a fin de evaluar la efectividad de la auriculoterapia en una población con hipertensión arterial esencial, para lo cual fueron conformados 2 grupos de estudio de 30 integrantes cada uno, asignados de forma aleatoria. La terapia acupuntural resultó ser de bajo costo y fue efectiva en 66,6 % de la serie.A clinical and therapeutical trial was carried out in 60 patients between 30-59 years old, belonging to the doctor´s office of the Engineering and Architecture Project Enterprise No. 15, from "Armando García Aspurú" Teaching Polyclinic in Santiago de Cuba, from May to November, 2010, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the auriculotherapy in a population with essential hypertension, for which 2 study groups of 30 members each were randomly formed. The acupuncture therapy turned out to be of low cost and it was effective in 66,6 % of the series.
