Parametric Grammar: The Shape of Villa Giulia, between Cognitive Coherence and Data Enrichment

Abstract

The research theme is the identification of a prototype procedure for the construction of parametric models useful for the communication of Cultural Heritage. The final result of the experimentation, applied to architectures marked by the presence of classical architectural orders and sculptural apparatus, has generated communicative artifacts. Reconstructing a conoscitive model of a real space has meant composing a navigation interface through which to convey and illustrate architecture with other potentialities, responding at the same time to specific characteristics of perceptive and geometric quality for the user.DOI: https://doi.org/10.20365/disegnarecon.26.2021.7
