The effectiveness of different surgical techniques in patients with cystic lesions of spleen is considered in the article. The results of treatment of 9 children aged from 9 to 16 years old during the period from 1998 till 2009 have been analyzed. The examination included ultrasound computerized tomography and MRT Differential diagnosis was made between lymphangiomas, hemangiomas and true cystic growths of spleen. The proper diagnosis was made after his-tological examination. The invasive procedures preserving spleen were preferred. Percutaneus puncture with draining and long term sclerotherapy performed by laparoscopy control was considered to be a safe procedure
