Investigation of the influence of multiple thermoforming processes on the properties of continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastics to enable structural reuse

Abstract

Article highlights High potential was demonstrated for the new circular economy approach for thermoplastic composite materials. Secondary material with high mechanical properties can be obtained by reforming processes. Longer and multiple use of the material in high quality condition enables new applications for thermoplastic composites due to low cost.
