Functioning of Demonyms (Gentilic) in Mexican Culture

Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of stereotypes, in particular etnostereotypes, their role in the formation of Mexican linguistic picture of the world and the functioning of demonyms (gentilic) in phraseological units in the Spanish of Mexico.
