COLOMBIAN MINING SUSTAINABILITY

Abstract

This is a brief reference to mining sustainability in Colombia. First, it discusses the concept of sustainability and its relationship to mineral resources, covering topics of ethical, economical and environmental issues. Secondly, we browse mining sustainability implementation in Colombia, compared to other productive sectors and lastly we view challenges for larger implementations.
