Super-resolution imaging in multi-broadband of a ten-fold Penrose-type phononic quasi-crystal flat lens
Abstract
A ten-fold Penrose-type phononic quasi-crystal (PQC) flat lens is constructed in water by steel rods. Super-resolution imaging in multi-broadband of the lens is realized. Results show that there are broad imaging bands on both sides of phononic band gaps (PBGs). In most imaging bands, there are frequency ranges where super-resolution imaging can be achieved, and far-field super-resolution imaging can be realized in specific frequency ranges. The PQC flat lens is expected to be applied to ultrasonic therapy, detecting, imaging, etc.
