COVID-19 and Influenza: Report of five cases in a peruvian hospital

Abstract

The disease of COVID-19 is an infection of easy transmission like other respiratory viruses, reporting cases of Influenza coinfection in seasonal seasons. 5 cases of co-infection of COVID-19 and the Influenza virus are presented, the most frequent being the Influenza A virus, the symptoms of odynophagia and nasal congestion may suggest co-infection between these two viruses, in the patients evaluated, not Poor prognosis and mortality were observed.
