A type of correlational research was implemented in order to meet the objective of determining the relationship between burnout syndrome and educational quality in educational institutions in the city of Manta - Ecuador. The result -, 097 shows a high negative correlation with bilateral significance of, 434, which implies that both variables are correlated in the opposite direction. From the results obtained, it is necessary to deepen the diagnosis of burnout syndrome in the rest of the educational institutions of the province of Manabí, this as a measure to really know the number of teachers with burnout syndrome, which will allow generating strategies in favor of preventing the presence of burnout syndrome, which will serve the teaching population in order to improve their professional quality of life.
