Introduction of Cydonia oblonga Mill. into the Western Forest-Steppe of Ukraine and its perspectives

Abstract

The paper is dedicated to analysis of condition and prospects of quince in the Western Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Data are presented on the introduction history of quince oblong in this region, quantitative and qualitative plantations composition, their characteristic. Rational regioniny for industrial and farmers gardens is suggested.
