Summary:. We devised a new method to transfer the web as a local flap in polydactyly. Our technique aims to preserve the web space, which is indicated for polydactyly to remove the interposed toe at the metatarsal bone level. The interdigital web flap is created on one lateral side of the toe to be removed. The extra toe and metatarsal bone are removed after elevating the flap. The flap is then sutured onto the side of the remaining toe.
