A nasalidade consonantal na variedade nhandewa-guarani: Análises acústicas preliminares
Abstract
This paper discusses on oral (OAS) and nasal acoustic signals (NAS) of pre-nasalized [mb nd ŋɡ] and full nasal [m n ɲ] consonants of the Nhandewa-Guarani dialectal variety. The obtained results have shown that the duration of the murmur of [mb nd ŋɡ] does not exhibit significant differences concerning the murmur of [m n ɲ]. In pre-nasalized consonants, the nasal phase corresponds to 70% of the total duration of the segment, since the remaining 30% are due to the oral occlusion phase. For both groups of consonants, despite a higher concentration of energy at low frequencies, differences in amplitude of spectral peaks are noticed in the transition between the nasal-oral phases of pre-nasalized consonants.
