Approach towards a quantum crystal structure of a two dimensional gas of particles with delta function interaction

Abstract

Inspired by recent studies of the two-dimensional Wigner crystals for electrons, we study the time evolution of a gas of particles interacting with a Dirac pair potential. We find that the gas crystalizes into a square lattice for low free-particle quantum numbers.
