Abstract

Acute otitis media (AOM) is one of the most common diseases in children as well as in adults worldwide which makes a relevant social and economic impact. AOM treatment should primarily take into account the stage of the disease; it should be combined and focused on remedying the inflammatory process as well as alleviating the patient's condition. Analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs are very important at the initial stage of the disease.
