Abstract
Many studies conducted in different fields of social sciences have tried to explain the process of the government with the concept of accommodation. The accommodation relations are closely associated with elements such as; adoption, valuation and restriction. Businesses may accommodate their employees by providing lodging and catering. This study examines the provided accommodation to the employees of the 4 and 5 star hotels in Kuşadası in the framework of disciplinary government. 27 semi-structured interviews form the basis of the data collected in the study. In this context, the hotels provide accommodation for their employees in dormitories/lodgments of the business. Furthermore, the hotels aim to make their employees more beneficial and loyal to them by providing accommodation. For this reason, they control the daily habits of the employees, their relationships with each other, with their managers and with tourists. Living in the hotel lodgments causes a lot of problems for the employees as well. On the other hand, the employees may break the rules of the accommodation with daily resistances. In conclusion, accommodation practices play a significant role in making employees more submissive and productive.
