On March 17, 2015, the indigenous day laborers of the San Quintin Valley made their labor demands public through stoppages, demonstrations, blockades and negotiations with the businessmen and authorities of the state and federal governments. The objective of this work is to show the organizational strategies that indigenous agricultural laborers have developed in order to improve their working and living conditions. In addition, from the bibliographic review, hemerographic and empirical evidence, emphasis is placed on the derivation of labor mobilization to an ethnic movement, as well as the claim of the female sector as an agent of representativeness and leadership.
