Abstract

Missionary diakonia: A challenge to the church This article seeks to show the importance of diakonia as a ministry of the church, not only as a service in the church, but also as a service to the community in which Christians and the church live. To establish diakonia in that sense, also as a missionary activity, some paradigm shifts would be necessary. This article prepares the ground for the initial steps in that direction.
