Development of hard-alloy composition with nanopowdered additions produced by means of electricalsintering under pressure, test results, EM and X-rays research are presented. Basic component of improved mixfor sintering of hard alloys is considered as bifractional combination of powders of standard sizing andnanosizing features. The trend to increasing of tungsten semicarbide presence is revealed in the compositionssintered in accordance with the proposed approach. At the same time under comparative test conditions thehard-alloy samples with nanopowdered additions have improved characteristics versus conventionalalternatives, their hardness appreciably exceeds ones obtained by means of standard technologies that are ofspecial importance under cutting conditions.
