Synthesis and structural analysis of an asymmetric azacyclophane via Mannich cross macrocyclisation of l-tyrosine derivatives

Abstract

This article describes the synthesis of an asymmetric azacyclophane via a three-component (tyramine, l-tyrosine ethyl ester and formaldehyde) intermolecular hydrogen bond-assisted Mannich reaction.
