The coronavirus on tv: looks at the constitution of the fantastico style

Abstract

This article focuses on conducting a reflection on the constitution of the style of Rede Globo's Fantástico program, in the March 22, 2020 edition, which was marked by the emphasis on the presentation of the coronavirus theme. The edition lasted more than two and a half hours and brought several special reports on the pandemic. To assess the dynamics presented in the constitution of the style of the program, we will anchor ourselves from the perspective of addressing modes. As conclusions, it is worth pointing out that the edition of Fantástico analyzed keeps some of the usual characteristics of the journalistic, presenting news in a lighter way, seeking to get closer to viewers, but that also re-signified its style, seeking to bring accurate information about Covid 19 viewers.
