Cutaneous and systemic manifestations of sarcoidosis: through a series of hospitalized patients at Oran University Hospital

Introduction - Sarcoidosis is a multisystem granulomatous disease, that can take different dermatological presentations. Our objective was to set up the clinical manifestations of cutaneous and systemic involvement of sarcoidosis through a series of hospital cases. Patients and Methods - It is a retrospective descriptive study of sarcoidosiscases hospitalized at the Dermatology Department of Oran University Hospital over 22 years. Results - A total of 29 cases of cutaneo-systemic sarcoidosis were collected, of which 25 (86%) were women. The mean age of onset was 52.24±15.5 years. Specific cutaneous involvement was predominant (93%). Respiratory involvement was found in all cases (100%). Conclusion - This study confirmed the diversity of cutaneous and visceral manifestations of sarcoidosis in our population.
