THE EFFECTS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION ON MOTOR ABILITIES
Abstract
During regular process of teaching physical education, a teacher has an obliga- tion to continuously conduct an assessment and evaluation of pupils’ physical develop- ment and development of their motor and functional abilities. According to information obtained from initial assessment, the teacher is able to design a program for every class, every pupil, and to individualise a process of education. This approach is the best way for achieving wanted effects. The main goal of this research was analysing results got from pupils’ testing. We assessed their motor abilities two times, once at the initial and other time at the final te- sting session. We tried to see if there were any differences between two time points. Using paired-samples t-test we got statistically significant differences in, almost, all variables, so we can say that realised program of physical education produced improvement of the motor abilities during mentioned period of time.
