A.A. Shakhmatov and F.I. Buslaev

Abstract

This article studies the role of F.I. Buslaev in developing A.A. Shakhmatov’s ideas as a scholar at the beginning of his creative work as well as the scholastic view on the nature of teaching the Russian language in colleges.
