The fourth part of General Estoria by Alfonso X, in spite of conserving itself in a codex coming from the dated Regal Camera in 1280, does not count to date on an edition, which has made difficult its linguistic study. Here the examination of the language of one of its more showy sections, the dedicated one to the Nabucodonosor reign has been carried out. For it a critical edition of this segment has been prepared, considering the different manuscripts althout granting preeminence to Urb. Lat 539 of the Vatican Library, being this one the regal codex. Here the more showy linguistic characteristics of this section study, like the values of the consonantics grafics, the morphology of the numerals, the use of the article before possessive, morphology of the conditional and future and the phonetic semantic and morphologic implications of apocope, among others.
