RESEARCH OF THE POLYMORPHIC VARIANTS OF TGFβ CONTRIBUTION IN FORMATION OF CHROMOSOMAL DAMAGE OF KUZBASS MINERS

Abstract

The effect of polymorphic variant of TGFβ gene on chromosome damage of Kuzbass miners was studied. The frequency of chromosomal aberrations among miners was increased (compared with the control group, p=0,000001). We discovered that TGFβ gene polymorphism increases the frequency of chromosomal damage (chromatide exchanges, single fragments) among miners.
