Research results on physical culture influence over senior specialized classes students’ health indicators are presented in the article. Integral assessment of health parameters was performed using L. G. Apanasenko’s method. It was found that students, additionally engaged in physical culture, have higher health indicators. Additional PE lessons influence over morphofunctional parameters of ninth specialized classes students' health was studied. The obtained values were compared with the health parameters of students who were not engaged in additional physical education. Among the ninth-graders, engaged in extracurricular physical education, there were no students with excess body weight. It was found that ninth grade students, having additional physical education, differ in higher parameters of hand strength, lungs vital capacity per kilogram of body weight, more economical functioning of their cardiovascular system under relative physical rest conditions, and after standard physical activity, they showed faster recovery. The results obtained indicate a higher functional state of the cardiovascular, respiratory and neuromuscular systems, higher physical fitness and health level of ninth -graders engaged in additional PE lessons.
