ON COORDINATION OF EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

Abstract

The problems of harmonizing higher educational and professional standards is considered. It is shown that the use of a professional standard as the goal for the educational one is impractical due to various temporal targets. At the same time, the professional standards have to be taken into account while developing basic education programs, particularly those of applied nature.
