Before 2020, distance work was used sporadically. Only some companies allowed the performance of official duties outside the workplace. Employers did not use telework on such a large scale as it is today. It is also possible to put forward a hypothesis that remote work has already entered employment relations for good. It should also be noted that its development was enabled by technological progress and the digitization of communication. The employee is on-line all the time, working from home; communicates quickly and efficiently. He/she does not have to be physically in the office and have direct and close contact with colleagues in order to properly perform his/her duties. The aim of this article is to present the new situation in the workplace resulting from the outbreak of the pandemic and the introduction of distance work. An analysis of the literature on the subject was carried out, showing the impact of employer-employee relations on the organizational culture during the pandemic. There is few research on this subject, thus, there is also a reference to publications on the Internet
