The coronavirus pandemic caused, in addition to health chaos, an economic and organizational imbalance. Given these challenges faced worldwide, traditional businesses, with consolidated trajectory in the market, as well as new businesses, needed to reinvent themselves and innovate in order to continue offering their products and services and keeping their businesses active and sustainable. With this in mind, the objective of this study is to analyze research published in 2020, in the area of management, related to innovation, sustainability and COVID-19. To achieve this goal, a bibliometric search was carried out in the Web of Science database, and the articles resulting from the search were analyzed using content analysis. The results show the lack of more in-depth studies on pandemic crises, such as the one experienced with COVID-19. Moreover, it is noted that the hospital environment constitutes the focus of existing studies, which indicates a research gap about the negative impacts on the lives of people and organizations.
