IMPACT OF MIGRATION ON THE BINOM ABBANDONED COUNTRY – HOST COUNTRY

Abstract

Migration is an essential vector of development when it is well managed, otherwise it can – generate irreversible macroeconomic, social and cultural imbalances. If before the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the most persistent reasons for immigration were those of an economic, educational and family reunification order, currently, one reason becomes even more persistent, namely the reason for the safety of the life and health of the resident citizen of the Republic of Moldova. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of migration on the economic, social and cultural development of the host countries, but also of those abandoned in the short and long term, including the role of the Republic of Moldova in this migration flow.
