Abstract
SIMPLE and SIMPLeR are proposed as models for embolism, the latter reversibly manipulating magnetized red blood cells to occlude cerebral vessels. Both methods induce age-dependent micro-hemorrhage transformation, with microglia/macrophage depletion preventing hemorrhage transformation.
