This article presents a systematic review of the specific literature on mobile applications, distance education and health education, published in the ABED International Congress on Distance Education - CIAED, in the period from 2016 to 2019. CIAED is one of the main events aimed at area of ​​distance education, as well as the use of digital educational resources to promote teaching. These technologies consist of educational objects and applications founded on the web, in learning environments. In this study, emphasis was given to the methodological procedure that provided different results found in the investigations, based on the systematic review methodology. From the selection of variables and inclusion and exclusion criteria, it was found that the literature on mobile applications, distance education and health education published in CIAED advises a significant expansion in the scientific production of technology research in health education, contributing to the updating, dissemination of mobile technologies in distance education and their classifications in the field of health education.
