ADAPTATION OF FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS IN A NEW EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT AS A SUBJECT OF PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING
Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of adaptation of first-year students in the new educational environment. Theoretical aspects of the problem, the concept and goals of psychological counseling in a higher education are revealed. The results of empirical research of the features of adaptation of students when moving from school to University are presented. The possibilities of individual and group counseling of students with difficulties of adaptation in new conditions are shown.
